How Are You Making the Most of Your Summer? #readandplay

I cannot believe that July is almost over!I love the slower pace of summer and the opportunity to find lots of fun learning opportunities for my family.

With the heat wave, we’ve gotten creative trying to beat the heat.  We have to watch our budget, though, so frugal entertainment is always a big plus!

How are you enjoying your summer so far? Have you been checking items off your bucket list or wondering where all the time went? Are you nervous about being ready for the school year or just enjoying the summertime relaxation?

If you have any tips for keeping cool and having summer fun, or would like to learn more about how to stay active for less during the summer, I hope you will stop by Making the Most of Your Summer at Wednesday, July 27, 9-10 PM EST at the Random House Children’s Books Community!

Your hosts are: Melissa @ Stockpiling Moms, Sharon – Teaching Tiny Tots, Candace – Naturally Educational (me), Stacie – The Divine Miss Mommy, Lori – Freely Educate and Jennifer – Mom Spotted.

We will be chatting all things summer and fun, including staying cool, summer reading and learning, crafts, recipes and entertaining, and how to make the most of your summer without breaking the bank.

There will be giveaways throughout the chat, including gift cards and books from Random House!

Please check out the thread to RSVP (Making the Most of Your Summer) and then head back to the link for the live chat at 9pm EST!

I hope you’ll join us for some Summer Fun & Learning!
