I am very excited to be able to share some of my educational projects and ideas with a wider audience and also promote other education bloggers.

My site was nominated for Best Education Blog!

Naturally Educational was nominated in the category of Best Education Blog in the Bloggers’ Choice Awards.  Will please consider voting (you will need to register, first) and sharing this with your friends (on Twitter, Facebook, etc.)?  I am currently tied for third place (so even one vote is a big help) and the top two vote getters aren’t even education blogs.  I would greatly appreciate your help!

theBump is also accepting nominations for Best Crafty Mommy Blog and if you enjoy Naturally Educational, this would be another great way to show it!  There are plenty of fun categories so go register and show some blog love to all of your favorites!

Some of my Autumn and Halloween craft projects for kids were featured around the web on sites I just adore:  The Crafty Crow, Craft Gossip, ABC 123, and Pearson’s Family Education blog by Allison McDonald of No Time for Flashcards.

I was also honored to be quoted in Family Circle as an education expert and to have my site featured in Ed., the magazine of the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

I like to return the love and share some of the amazing projects and ideas out there on education blogs. So, there are three ways I do this:

  • Sharing Links: Almost daily I share links from education and children’s craft blogs on the Naturally Educational facebook page.  If you “like” my page, you will not only see updates from Naturally Educational in your facebook feed, you will also see some of my top picks from throughout the blogosphere.
  • Custom Search Engine: I maintain a “custom search engine” of education blogs–a great resource if you are looking for posts or projects about a certain theme, technique, or idea.  Just scroll down and you will see it on my sidebar: “Search Educational Blogs”.
  • Education Memes: If you are a blogger looking for places to share your links or a reader looking to discover new blogs, check out the Education Memes. Run your own weekly meme? Add it to the linky!

If you are an education blogger, or a reader with a favorite education blog, feel free to share it with me in the comments section so I can make sure it is in my feed reader and part of my Custom Search Engine!

Finally, to make it easier to stay in touch with you, I have added an e-mail digest.  If you Subscribe to Naturally Educational by Email, you will receive a digest of my latest postings, no more than once a day. Of course, you can still subscribe to the feed in your RSS reader of choice.

I look forward to more learning and sharing with you!
